Warranty & Guarantee
In order to protect your sentimental pieces during the busiest shipping period of the year and to allow our craftspeople the time needed to service your jewelry, we will pause annual shine, resizing, and repair services from November 1, 2022 through January 1, 2023. These services will resume as of January 2, 2023.
Lifetime Warranty: Fine Jewelry
VRAI stands behind the quality and craftsmanship of our jewelry and offers a free lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects on fine jewelry purchases. If you experience damage to your purchase due to manufacturing, please contact us so we may evaluate your piece. Email hello@stefee.com with photos, a short video, and a description of how the damage occurred. If we find the damage is not repairable via the provided images, we may not accept the item back for an evaluation.
A $50 USD deposit will be taken before the shipment of your item back to VRAI for evaluation, which covers the cost of shipping and an evaluation by our expert jewelers to determine if the damage is warrantied. This fee is refunded in full for all warrantied repairs. Damage that is not deemed a manufacturing defect and is repairable will have a repair fee quoted to the customer for approval before any work is performed. If approved, the deposit will be applied to this repair. If the customer chooses not to perform the repair, the deposit will be applied to cover the shipping charge back to the customer after evaluation.
If the damage is deemed a manufacturing defect, VRAI will repair the warrantied damage or replace the item when deemed appropriate without charge. Replacements are considered a one-time courtesy.
Our manufacturing warranty excludes coverage for wear and tear, scratching, stretched chains/rings, and product loss, as well as jewelry damaged due to improper use, cleaning or storage. The VRAI warranty only applies to VRAI.com purchases.
Because we stand behind our designs and our jewelers, any third-party or outside jeweler altering or servicing your jewelry will void your warranty with us. Repair requests from countries other than the United States are examined case by case. Please reach out to hello@stefee.com with your order information, photos of the damage, a short video, and a description of how the damage occurred to see how we can help.
Complimentary gifts cannot be exchanged or returned for a refund and will not be replaced if misplaced, lost, or stolen. These items are not covered by our warranty and cannot be repaired through VRAI.
Lifetime Warranty: Engagement Rings & Wedding Bands
VRAI guarantees your engagement ring and wedding band to be free of manufacturing defects. If you believe your ring has a defect, you are able to send it back to us at any time for an inspection. Email hello@stefee.com with photos, a short video, and a description of how the damage occurred. As each ring is made-to-order and crafted specifically for you, slight variations are to be expected and are not viewed as a defect.
This warranty does not apply to the replacement of a center stone. Our lifetime warranty excludes coverage for wear and tear, warped rings, discoloration due to contact with harsh chemicals, and product loss, as well as jewelry damaged due to improper use, cleaning, or storage. The VRAI warranty only applies to VRAI.com purchases.
Because we stand behind our designs and our jewelers, any third-party or outside jeweler altering your jewelry will void your lifetime warranty with us. The only exception to this is if you're purchasing outside of the United States and need a third-party jeweler to service your ring. Please contact us prior to working with a jeweler to initiate this process.
To be eligible for the warranty:
- Please be sure the ring and diamond have not been exposed to unreasonable force or harmful conditions.
- The ring needs to have been stored and handled correctly. An abused, altered, or incorrectly cleaned ring is not eligible for a repair within warranty.
- The ring needs to be in the possession of the original purchaser, as this warranty is not-transferable.

ifetime Warranty: Diamonds
We are proud to offer a lifetime warranty for all diamonds created by Diamond Foundry.
We stand behind our products and warrant their graded characteristics through the following full legal guarantee and warranty.
In the unlikely case that your diamond turns out to not meet or exceed a 4C grade stated in this Certificate, Diamond Foundry shall, at its option: Accept the return of the diamond and provide you with a refund of the full purchase price; or replace the diamond with a diamond that meets or exceeds each of the characteristics warranted.
If you make a claim under this Warranty, you must allow Diamond Foundry to: examine the original copy of the Certificate; try and resolve your claim amicably; inspect the jewelry and any gemological evaluation on which you base your claim; remove the diamond from the jewelry for gemological examination. Diamonds must be graded as loose stones by an internationally recognized diamond grading laboratory. Since the diamond grading process is a subjective science, your claim is only warranted if the internationally recognized diamond grading laboratory grades your diamond at least two grades lower in color and/or clarity.
The condition of the diamond will be determined by examination under no greater than 10x magnification and by standard gemological techniques. The accuracy of angles and linear measurements will be determined by the following tolerances: ±0.2º and ±0.02 millimeters.
This Warranty remains in effect in perpetuity with the original purchase proof. It covers the lack of conformity of the diamond with the 4C grades stated on this certificate at the time of sale. It does not cover damage to the diamond that occurs after delivery including normal wear & tear, cuts or scratches, consequential or incidental damages provided or allowed by an insurance coverage. This Warranty is not transferable and only applies to the original purchaser of the product. Your claim is only warranted if the internationally recognized diamond grading laboratory grades your diamond at least two grades lower in color and/or clarity.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights; it does not, in any way, affect the rights given to you by law.
Diamond Sizes
Diamonds sold as part of jewelry may not each have unique certificates, please refer to the tolerance specifications here.
Diamond Upgrades
For a diamond set in a VRAI engagement ring:
Any certified solitaire diamond purchased in a VRAI engagement ring (0.50ct and above) is eligible for an upgrade for the lifetime of the original purchaser. We forever guarantee the value of your VRAI engagement ring diamond, which can be returned for credit equivalent to the original purchase price for any diamond jewelry purchase on VRAI.com, that is at least fifty percent greater in value. Your purchase must include either jewelry that features a 1/4ct+ diamond, an engagement ring or loose diamonds. This credit does not include the price of your setting, duty/tax paid on the diamond or shipping costs, and is non-transferable. All applicable duties and taxes will be charged on the full retail price of your newly purchased jewelry, before any credit is applied. The entire credit must be used towards your order, and your diamond jewelry purchases are a final sale. To be eligible for the Diamond Upgrade Program, your diamond must be in its original condition with the original purchase receipt and diamond certificate. Any damage to the original diamond may disqualify the diamond from this program.
Once the diamond has been verified and inspected, the original setting will be returned to you. Please note, your setting is non refundable, and if you choose to purchase another VRAI engagement ring, a new setting will need to be purchased, as each setting is made-to-order based on the diamond's specific measurements.

For loose diamonds:
Any Diamond Foundry loose diamond purchased from VRAI.com (0.50 ct and above) is eligible for an upgrade for the lifetime of the original purchaser. Please note, your setting is non refundable, and if you choose to purchase another VRAI engagement ring, a new setting will need to be purchased, as each setting is made-to-order based on the diamond's specific measurements.

We work with Jewelers Mutual Insurance Group to offer repair and replacement jewelry insurance on VRAI purchases. If your jewelry gets lost, stolen, damaged or just mysteriously disappears, they've got you covered. Available for US and Canada (excluding Quebec) only.
