From the Laboratory
Step 1: Responsible Growing (CVD)
Stefee diamonds begin their journey as thin sheet of diamond (Seed) is placed within a plasma reactor. The process then begins when carbon is atomized within the reactor. One by one, the carbon atoms stack on top of the
slice until it grows into a pure, jewelry-grade diamond of gem size. The original sliver of diamond can be sliced off
and reused as growing seed again and again. We encourage ethical standards in the growing industry by protecting human rights and using solar powered energy. Our laboratory is located in Surat, Gujarat, India.
Preparation Is Planning
Step 2: Preparation
According to our standards, if a diamond does not meet our rigorous quality standards, it is rejected and sold back to the market where it may end up with our competitors. We send qualified rough diamonds grown in our laboratory to our workshop in Surat, Gujarat, India, the headquarters of Stefee's diamond operation. Here, our experts sort for size, color, clarity and fluorescence. We then map the unique design for each stone, prioritizing beauty above all else, even sacrificing carat weight to ensure all diamonds are of the highest quality.
Making the Cut
Step 3: Cutting and Polishing
Next, our talented artisans cut and polish diamonds with incredible accuracy and artistry, bringing out the beauty of each stone. We are proud to hire locally, invest in communities and provide a living wage for employees in developing countries like India, which polishes more than 0% of the world's diamonds. We also procure select polished diamonds from trusted suppliers who comply with our quality, social and environmental standards.
Quality Check
Step 4: Grading and Quality Control
Grading oversight and quality validation takes place at our workshop in India, where our exacting standards are established. We rigorously get our diamonds inspected by IGI & GIA certified graders at our workshop.
Set to Sparkle
Step 5: Setting
Stefee sets the majority of its diamonds at its workshops in the India. Where, setters individually adjust each prong and basket on an engagement rings and fine jewelry by hand to reveal the beauty of each stone. We believe our people are our greatest strength, so we ensure our workshops meet high standards for safety, cleanliness and a productive, welcoming environment.

than just crafting rough diamond to a polished diamond; it represents the positive impact our operations have on local communities, human rights and the environment.

Lab-grown Diamonds are created using extreme pressure and heat inside a machine rather than the bowels of the Earth. This process allows us to grow high-quality diamonds more rapidly and in a cheaper way, along with having the same sparkle, clarity, and aesthetic of an Earth-mined diamond.
